What’s better than helping out kids by eating cheeseburgers? The Cheeseburger Crawl of Allen from 7-9 p.m. Thursday will include stops at three premium burger joints in town: Liberty Burger, Scotty P’s and Twisted Root Burger Co. The event benefits Children’s Advocacy of Collin County.
TalkofAllen.com is coordinating a “Cheeseburger Crawl” benefit for Children’s Advocacy of Collin County from 7-9 p.m. Thursday. The crawl will begin at Liberty Burger, 824 Stacy Road, before heading to Scotty P’s, 109 N. Central Expressway #501, and will conclude at Twisted Root Burger Co., 232 Town Place in Fairview.
Crawlers will receive an instruction packet, a commemorative t-shirt and admission band at Liberty Burger that will grant them entry to each of the three premium burger restaurants. Participants will receive the t-shirt along with a half plate of cheeseburger, side and soft drink at each location. At the end of the event, crawlers are then welcome to go online and provide a review of each burger, which TalkofAllen.com will then use to determine the best cheeseburger in Allen for 2014.
The Children’s Advocacy Center offers services to children that are victims of abuse, neglect and hardship. This United Way Agency provides safety, healing and justice for needy children in the Collin County area.
The cost for admission to the event is $14.95. Visit talkofallen.com to register.
